All Mountain Snowboards are mostly directional snowboards (the nose of the snowboard being longer then the tail of the snowboard). Some boards will have a slight volume shift in the nose of the snowboard as well. These type of riders typically like to go all over the mountain, looking for a versatile snowboard that can handle all conditions of the mountain. Of course you can still ride a twin snowboard or A.K.A "park Snowboard as an all mountain snowboard.
