Snowboard Boot Tech
TLS Lacing
Nitro’s TLS Twin Lacing System uses two independently adjustable zones for fast, precise tightening and secure locking through a compact, lightweight mechanism with proven reliability across countless days on snow. Low-abrasion Dyneema® laces provide lasting durability, while integrated handle storage pockets and the Bail Out System allow clean storage and fast, effortless lace release.
EVA Midsole
A molded EVA midsole reduces the overall weight and provides dampening, comfort, and thermal insulation.
Therminator Shield
This reflective thermal layer between sole and liner will reflect your body heat and keep your feet warm all day.
Armored Spine
We are using an anatomically shaped and 3D molded heel reinforcement to provide even boot flex and long-lasting heel fit.
Molded TLS Lace Gliders
Strategically placed molded Lace Gliders on the boots lacing eyelets reduce friction to a minimum for more defined and powerful lacing.
Nitro Step On® Outsole
Nitro’s Step On® Outsole is fully compatible with Step On® bindings for fast, secure, and effortless boot-to-binding engagement. Its abrasion-resistant, high-grip rubber compound and traction-focused tread provide dependable grip and long-lasting durability. Depending on the color, the outsole contains up to 3% recycled rubber
Internal Power Strap
Crank down the top of your liner with the easy-to-use Power Strap for more response from the top down.
Power Tongue Stiffener
Nitro’s easily interchangeable Power Tongue Stiffener slides into the boot’s shell tongue to customize flex and support. It allows riders to choose upgrade to more precision and response or a softer, more relaxed ride feel.
Micro Adjustable Heel Lock Pro
Nitro’s Micro Adjustable Heel Lock Pro uses a shell-integrated harness to secure the liner around the ankle for precise fit and dependable heel hold. Controlled externally by a BOA® H5 dial, it allows quick tightening and release while wearing the boot. On Step On® models, it provides strap-like ankle security without traditional binding straps
